On The Move ep. 3

Well, continuation from the last episode...

I basically never felt so bad about myself ever before. I sulked... weeped... blamed ownself for asking too many questions... Never had I feel so unwanted.... = (

Got myself together. Called my friend (Onyz). Told her about the whole situation that fella got me in. And the very next day, my dear Onyz recommended places.
**I love you ONYZ!!!!

I called one of them up and almost immediately got to see the unit. I had to be so calculative in every aspect. I could not show the agent that I liked the place. My nose was in full swing smelling every corner of the house...

Keeping it short.. I listed the pros and cons of that unit and decided it was good! Much better than the room that I initially wanted. Now I have the whole house to myself. I can walk around naked and not worry about another man being there breathing down my neck... but forking out S$1200 a month is not easy. I need a HOUSEMATE!!!!

On The Move ep. 2

Moving home is very expensive. It involves a whole lot of dough leaking out of the bank account!

Let me tell you about this place that I found. More like the first place that I found...

Location: Tampines St. 41
Owner: Singaporean but China-mari...
House: 2 bedroom with 1 washroom

I was introduced the place by an agent. The house looks fine. Very visible signs of bachelorhood.

Looked around... room is very much bigger than what I had. Continued to look around... kitchen underutilised - signs of dust, refrigerator that had only a bottle of green tea.
Went around the corner... toilet, bathroom, and wash basin TOTALLY SEPARATED!! weird is the word... but I still took it up.

Conclusion about owner: BO-CHAP!

Moved me things over almost immediately. Then realised the toilet stank of piss! Bathroom filled with moss.. Clothes lying all over the house. Manly smell conquered the house. Friendly neighbour also mentioned that a few more people came to see the room for rent (that was rented to me) - decided to ignore.
**Wanted to decline living there but the money wasn't all that small.**

A few days later, I was still taking my things over. Asked him (the owner) a few questions.. well, not really that few. They were answered but quite reluctantly.Ten minutes later I got an sms from the agent saying "Your owner doesn't want you to live there anymore".

Depressed me that I've never seen before...
