Say the word spider and you get a Happy Face!

This Chinese New Year is a very good one!!

Although I only got back home on the 7th day, it was still CNY to me. My father invited my boyfriend over for dinner on that day itself. I was shocked but did not show it. My boo said yes he would make it but later on called to tell us he couldn't make it. Cause of the problem: Auntie! Fine, it was still all right.

On Sunday my granny said that my uncle would like to have lunch before I left. Arrangements made. Conversations exchanged. I grabbed my mum's arm and said, "I'd call Arvind along yah!!" and her reply was "Okay."

I was so darn happyyyyyy!!!! Although it was just a lunch, it was something I'd never expected from my parents. I am happy it turned out the way it did.

Anyhow, back to the story telling. Came Monday, he arrived. And we all left the house (in separate cars: work reasons!). Met my uncle, aunt, cousins. They didn't recognize him except for my girl-cousin.

There were conversations. The table was never without one even while eating. I'm glad it was like that coz I'd never want a family that does not interact esp at the dining table.

I did not talk to my bf much but I see he was entertained even without me. At least it all seemed normal (to me).

By the time lunch ended. Everything was still okay. Nothing serious happened. I am so glad.

I know it's a long journey, and it is just starting....

Pray for good turnout!!

My beloved boyfriend will be going over to my home to collect his Lap-cheong (cured sausages) and Pineapple Tart. I wonder how everything will turn out.

He is nervous shit with butterflies in his stomach up to his throat. He hopes and prays everything turns out good between him and my parents. If you do not understand what I am yacking on about, read "boyfriend misery".

Babee... I'm praying for you too!! I hope everything turns out GOOD!!

**Crossing my fingers, toes, tongue, stomach, etc...**

Unlucky? Anyway Happy Piggy year

I am going away again. And this time I will not experience the Chinese New Year fever. This is so damn unfair!!! Unfortunately this is the downside of my oh-so-glamourous job.

But the Lunar New Year lasts for 15 days and I get to 'enjoy' it back home on the 7th day. But the feeling would've already died down. ** sad...**

Why am I so down? Well, let me tell you. I tried exchanging for a better deal but no one wanted.

Why am I so unlucky??...... : (

Work? Or not to work?

I'm on MC today. All because of my damn blocked ear! I do not remember having running nose or even blocked nose.
It was fine when we landed in Bali, but when the plane descent to Singapore, it all hit my poor left ear. I was suffering a terrible one. After that, I was literally deaf on one side.
Each time anyone spoke to me, I needed them to repeat several times.

Should I go for work tomorrow? Am I all ears to work?

**sighhhhhh**

Review of yesterday

I actually spent the whole of yesterday not doing anything productive except going to get my hair cut and spent my time eating and eating. I'm proud of myself for not spending unnecessary money on cosmetics, clothing or anything that would contribute to clutter!

Breakdown of what I spent:

Hair cut: $40
Lunch @ 1800hrs: $45
Dinner @ 2030hrs: Did not have to pay a dime!
Drinks after dinner: $16

Total: $101.00

Spending that amount on glorious food is not a problem and in fact I encourage such acts. Life is to be enjoyed to the fullest through food and the other sins of life; drinks and sex.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
